Questions about the package
What exactly does the $3,999 listing fee cover?
The full listing side of the sale: pricing strategy, preparation guidance, photography direction, MLS® System listing and syndication, marketing, showing management, negotiation and representation through closing. GST applies on top.
What happens above a $400,000 sale price?
The $3,999 fee applies up to a $400,000 sale price, and $500 is added for every additional $200,000 of sale price. The table on this page shows the fee at common Calgary price points.
Is a buyer's agent commission included in the $3,999?
No. What you offer a cooperating buyer brokerage is a separate, negotiable decision written into your listing agreement before the home goes live.
When is the $3,999 fee paid?
The fee and its timing are set out in your listing agreement, which is reviewed together before anything is signed.
Can I get money back if I buy my next home with Future of Calgary?
Sellers who also purchase through Future of Calgary can qualify for a buyer reward that reduces the effective listing cost, subject to brokerage-approved program terms and a successful closing.
